GM and Senior Winemaker - Provenance Winery
Provenance is a small winery in Rutherford with the ability to crush up to 1,000 tons of luxury fruit. The winery is outfitted with the latest technology and tools to produce outstanding wines with a small and dedicated crew. As of June 2014 our Estate Vineyards are 100% Certified Sustainable/Napa Green.
About The Role
The successful candidate will lead the Provenance team in creating world class, award winning wines. You will be the primary brand ambassador for Provenance as well as provide leadership and guidance to Provenance Winery and to others at Treasury Wine Estates as needed.
Key responsibilities include winemaking decisions to deliver luxury Provenance wine including significant interactions with the vineyard teams, effectively manage quality, cost and safety at Provenance. Last but not least, you will determine how to maintain and improve the team and culture at Provenance.
About You
You bring 10
years of winemaking experience with a focus on producing high-quality, critically-acclaimed Napa wines
Operational capabilities and the experience of managing a quality site
Outstanding leadership and mentoring skills along with the ability to work well with others inside and outside the company
Excellent public relations skill with the ability to communicate clearly and influence others
