Looking for an experienced flexo manager, particulary someone who has experience with gallus presses. Great location and company will pay relocation.
Ensure safety is the primary focus for the department. Promotes and practices safety awareness and the proper use of equipment. Run tailgate meetings.

Coordinate and communicate with the set-up WTL to ensure all EM280 jobs are ready before press time.
Overall crewing and scheduling of EM280 production staff
Work with and utilize technical leadership as a resource
Prioritize EM280 production schedule. This includes production crewing, vacation, leaves, sick time offs
Payroll timesheet accuracy on a weekly basis
Attend monthly training and development meetings and report out on the development of team members within the EM280 technology
Performance management and reviews
Problem solving in conjunction with operators
Updates and reviews relevant communication journals (red books) and other white boards within the EM280 work stations to ensure that two way feedback is real time on downtime issues and conversion rates. Communicates issues to Production Manager or Technical Development Manager on a real time basis.
Alert scheduling via email of any issues that may get press off track
CTV co-ordination with Production Manager and Technical Development Manager
Assist in communicating internal press check(s) information to shift leaders and operators
Sign off existing runs
Monitor existing tooling and order new stamp, emboss or EM280 plates in accordance with their condition, prior to the job running
Promotes and maintains 5S standards for the department in coordination with CI Lead.
Eliminate spoilage through quality
Pre-Production review of new jobs
Interface with other Team Leaders and back up as required.
Interface and direct EM280 specific issues with Shift Supervisors
Produce Shift reports and follow up on internal complaints for EM280 jobs

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
