- Effectively and professionally communicate with the customers, in-house billing personnel, county health services staff and insurance companies.
- Follow up regarding the unpaid claims.
- Register residents and enter new charges availing of custom, real time medical billing software and reports.
Requirement
Basic skills and qualifications for the Full Time Medical Biller position:
- Awareness of MS Excel and Word is a great plus.
- Prior experience in third party claims (Private, Medicare, Medi-Cal Insurance).
- Previous experience in behavioral health billing is strongly desired.
