Leah's Pantry is looking to hire a community member to teach nutrition education, host recipe demos, and do community-based work at four affordable housing complexes in Napa and Sonoma Counties.
Position Role and Responsibilities Conduct in-person nutrition education, recipe demos, and cooking workshops using Leah's Pantry curriculum and materials.
Plan for class, shop for food and gather necessary materials.
Submit monthly workshop data and expense reports to Leah's Pantry.

Maintain organized and precise records, including attendance sheets and paperwork.

Qualifications (demonstrate or articulate):
Experience working with low-income and ethnically diverse adults and families.
Reliable mode of transportation Interest in cooking and healthy eating Willing to work hard with energy and enthusiasm Willing to learn new concepts and curriculums Flexible and able to respond to new situations Ability to listen and take directions Able to receive and incorporate constructive feedback Ability to carry out tasks quickly and competently Background check required Compensation Leah's Pantry will reimburse expenses for mileage and parking.
$75 per 60-minute workshop (rate includes planning, prep, and clean-up)/ $25 per hour for meetings and administrative work Expected hours:
4 - 8 hours per month Schedule:
