This position will consist of Both Medical Assistant Duties & Front Office Receptionist Duties.
All members of our staff contribute to our success by being flexible enough to manage Front & Back Office responsibilities as needed throughout the week.
This Position will consist of Medical Assistant Duties including:
Rooming patients & taking medical histories & vital signs Coordinating with Providers on patient care Responding to patient inquiries This position will also consist of front office duties including:
Scheduling appointments Responding to patient calls Prior authorizations Data entry into Electronic Health Records Scanning and faxing Requirements:
Teamwork Excellent customer service Excellent verbal and written communication skills Comfortable interacting with the elderly and disabled Strong computer skills Hard worker Enthusiastic Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Strongly preferred
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Medical terminology Electronic Health Records experience (Athena) 1
