VintEdge Winery About us:
VintEdge Winery is a brand-new custom winemaking facility in South Napa, located close to the Napa airport.
Our client wineries are producers of high-end Napa Valley wines, typically priced over $200 per bottle.
We provide white glove winemaking services to our winery clients, offering them an immaculate space to make wine, store finished case goods and host their clients and trade contacts.
We are currently seeking a Wine Warehouse Operations Manager to manage the VintEdge Winery in Napa,California About the Position:
This is our first hire for the finished case goods warehouse side of our business.
You will be joining our team to build out the operations of our warehouse and manage all facets of our case goods storage business.
As such, you will be tasked with setting up the processes and systems to successfully run this new operation along with the hiring and management of all warehouse personnel.
This role is part strategy and planning, part get it done tactical operations and part team leader.

Responsibilities:
Own the overall operation of the case goods storage warehouse Establish the daily operating procedures and protocols for the warehouse Manage the accurate recording, tracking and reporting of all warehouse inventory Handle client requests and communication related to the storage of their wines Recommend tools and equipment needed for successful warehouse operation Hire, develop and manage warehouse staff Assist with client billing as needed In collaboration with the General Manager, develop a warehouse operating budget and managed to it on a monthly basis Champion safety within warehouse operations Develop and maintain a continuous improvement program to improve warehouse operations
Qualifications:
Key Skills and traits include but are not limited to the following:
With at least 5 years of warehouse operations experience, preferably with a mix of on the ground and management experience Who can think strategically about complex problems, distill them down into bite size manageable pieces and develop comprehensive solutions Who enjoys working on small teams Who thrives in unstructured environments with a lot of individual ownership Who can be on your feet for long periods of time, often most of your shift, and is able to lift up to 50 lbs.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, curious, and passionate about operations.
Strong candidates will be hardworking, fast learners, and comfortable with handling a diverse set of tasks.
