Brix, an upscale, award-winning Napa Valley restaurant is seeking a Wine Program Manager to oversee daily wine operations and to assist dining room management and staff in choosing and selling wine.
Responsibilities EDUCATION & SERVICE:
Work closely with staff to educate them in wine sales and menu parings as well as with our guests during floor shifts (lunch, dinner, weekends, holidays).
INVENTORY:
Manage the superior wine list, order wine, receive inventory, update POS system and stock, maintain inventory budget and set pour costs, and handling special orders.

FLOOR MANAGEMENT:
Working with the management team to ensure standards are maintained during service, handling escalated situations, nightly audit/closing duties.
Work with staff to ensure maximum productivity and offering support to the staff when needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at the restaurant.
The successful candidate will have experience in responsibilities listed above background, excellent working knowledge of food/wine pairing, and an outgoing personality.
Certified Sommelier a plus.
