Converts data into useful insights used to drive decision making. Uses a data warehouse, MCIF system, or third-party systems along with other data tools and resources to target key audiences. Provides regular reporting and analysis and provides recommendations. Assists the Market Data Analytics Manager in achieving established Department goals. Conducts risk analytics to validate the performance of existing strategies and recommends changes where required. Prepares and/or reviews, as necessary, daily, weekly, and monthly (or other periodicity as requested) analytical schedules, graphs, and variance analysis, including board reports, development, and maintenance. Responsible for providing analytic support across several marketing functions. Creates and/or updates marketing models and what-if scenarios to analyze the impact of various marketing campaigns. Develops predictive models and what-if analysis tool(s) and reports for market intelligence and segmentation. Fosters positive relationships and regularly interacts with other RCU team members. Confidently builds relationships and works independently with third party vendors or other external contacts. Identifies areas of potential process improvement and initiates action towards implementing improvement. Serves as a resource to RCU management and staff to help them better understand marketing results and measurement systems as well as responding to report and analysis requests that have been properly approved. What's Needed From You:
Strong database, spreadsheet, mathematical, and analytical skills required. Advanced knowledge and proficiency of various software programs including, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Databases. Technical proficiency in SAS, SQL, Access, R, Python, and decision tree software preferred. Sound knowledge of database architecture and relational databases. Experience working with large datasets. Ability to query, aggregate, and manipulate data using SQL. Reporting experience through Business Intelligence (BI) applications. Power BI preferred. Strong communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills. Proactively prioritizes, meet goals, expectations, and deadlines. Ability to organize workflows efficiently, self-direct personal training needs and utilize available resources. Perform complex analysis, draw logical conclusions, and make recommendations when needed. Proactively communicate clearly, in writing and verbally. Act independently and confidentially with little or no supervision. Required Experience Additionally, the ideal candidate has:
A combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or similar and a minimum of five years of professional business, marketing, or financial analysis experience. Experience in financial services or with product and marketing analytics strongly preferred
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Marketing Research & AnalysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
