- Organize and maintain client files, both physical and electronic.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and other legal documents.
- Interview clients to gather necessary information for cases.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Utilize legal case management software to track case progress and deadlines.
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing calendars, and handling mail.
Requirements - Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in using legal research tools and software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette in a professional setting.
