Looking to hire a full time JR.
Estimator to join our team of PM's and Estimators.
Competitive Compensation based on experience The Estimator is responsible for producing documents related to pricing of projects.
Job Description Are you detail oriented? Do you know how to use Excel? Want to start a new career? An JR.
Estimator will learn to be:
Responsible for performing takeoffs, analyzing plans, performing calculations to determine quantities of materials and labor required to complete a given scope of work.
Communicate with GCs, clients, vendors, subcontractors, designers, architects and other parties related to the project.
Generate RFIs (Request For information), RFPs/RFQs (Request for Pricing, Proposal or quotes) Review sub and material pricing for discrepancies from the plans.
Create landscape proposals using excel template.
Communicate with clients regarding scope, timing of bid, delays, bid follow up.
Document and organize all information regarding bid and transfer to build team.
Experience Desired not needed 1 year residential landscape or building construction/design.
Degree in Math, Statistics, Accounting a plus Literate in :
blueprints, scope of work and specifications docs.
Microsoft Office suite use - must be comfortable using Excel as this will be the primary work platform.
Time management; Work on multiple projects concurrently Strong basic math skills Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Asks questions when unsure An interest in landscaping -- if you do not have experience in landscaping, please demonstrate your interest in a cover letter.
