Build, Inc is a growing design and construction firm in Napa.
We are looking for a full charge construction bookkeeper.
You will report regularly to the General Manager and President on the overall profitability of our projects and the company's overall financial health.
Responsibilities Day-to-day accounting functions, including payroll processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, chart of accounts, and general ledger.
Create and maintain an operating budget Perform detailed and accurate tracking of all costs related to our construction projects.
Reconcile all accounts monthly, maintain an accurate balance sheet, and prepare monthly financial statements.
Work closely with the CPA to prepare year end financials, adjustments, and JIs Submit all required information and reports for tax filing in a timely manner.
Payroll (utilizing Buildertrend timekeeping and QBO Payroll) Audit prep Business license filings Update cash flow spreadsheet weekly The above list is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by this position.

Qualifications Work Experience Minimum 5 years experience in construction bookkeeping Education BA degree in Accounting or Business Administration Skills QuickBooks Online Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Buildertrend knowledge helpful Must have strong verbal and written communication skills This is a full time, in-office position.
Pay is commensurate with experience, starting at $30/hr.
